The ITSLab at the IEEE MT ITS Conference

June 28, 2017

Prof. Ben-Akiva was the keynote speaker at the 5th IEEE International Conference on Models and Technologies for Intelligent Transportation Systems (MT-ITS) in Naples, Italy, and presented the lab's reseach on "Tolls and Incentives based on Network Predictions, Behavioral Models and Real Time Optimization".

Carlos Lima Azevedo was there as well and presented the on-going work on urban freight modelling - "SimMobility Freight: a multi-scale agent-based modelling framework for urban freight distribution" - by André Alho, Bhavathrathan B. K., Monique Stinson, Raja Gopalakrishnan, Diem Le, Moshe Ben-Akiva.

IEEE MT-ITS brought together researchers and practitioners from across the world to discuss emerging trends and developments in modelling and technology for ITS, to present state-of-the-art updates and to facilitate cross-fertilization between these two key areas of transportation systems.
